The hotel offers comfy and very clean rooms with the best shower experience. The staff provides excellent service, and the location is fantastic with brilliant views. The dining options are fabulous, with gluten-free choices available. However, the ambient of the location is somewhat basic. The facilities are beautiful and the price is value for money.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with stunning views of the gardens and surrounding scenery from my second-floor room, despite the bit of a climb. The beds were very firm, but the overall experience was memorable.

The location was perfect, secluded by the river yet close to fantastic walks and a short drive to Mount Snowden. It made me fall in love with the area even more.
Dining

Dining in the conservatory overlooking the river and grounds was a delightful experience, though the buffet options were a bit lacking. The fruit selection needs improvement.

The hotel had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay, though some areas could use a bit of updating.

8.4/10

I was thrilled with the hotel's location, which was perfect for dining either with or without my dogs, offering spacious and immaculately presented rooms with their own balconies providing stunning views down the valley. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious, overlooking the river and gardens. However, the bar area did not feel welcoming due to excessive lighting, contrasting with the cozy coffee shop ambiance near the fireplace.

The hotel's location was ideal, just a short 5-minute walk from Betwys-y-Coed, with convenient access to the town and perfect for day trips to the coast.
Dining

Although the dining experience was pleasant in a conservatory overlooking the river and grounds, there could have been more variety in the English breakfast options to enhance the overall dining experience.
